Bath time with Miz Aise is a much more rare occasion than it was with Miss Mia. The poor little gal's eczema is just too bad to bathe her daily.
So, we just make certain to have as much fun as possible with tubby time! Miss Mia helps me by getting her sister's towel and washcloth while I fill Miz Aise's tub with warm water.
Sometimes, the Hubby will help by stripping Miz Aise to her birthday suit . . . but tonight, he was out playing the snow we're receiving from yet another stinking snowstorm (I hate winter, by the way). So, I got Miz Aise undressed.
When we got to the tub, she started kicking her feet and her eyes were focused on the tub. Someone is starting to like er bath time! She was just all coos and smiles in her tub.
Her sister helps entertain her by moving some tubby toys before her eyes while I get her all clean - I LOVE the Johnson's Apple bath.
We play a few minutes before I whisk her from the tub, towel her off, get tons of lotion on her and the get her all snugly in one of her fleece sleep sacks.
Then - it's time for Miss Mia's Tubby Time. Miz Aise sits in her bouncer chair and watches while Miss Mia using her Tub Crayons to draw on the wall . . . Miss Mia would live in that tub if I gave her that option.
Just a nice way to spend an evening . . . kinda like an unappreciated moment of zen for Mommy and Her Two Girls.
By the way - we used some of my leave in conditioner on Miss Mia's hair because she's been asking and I promised her at the next bath . . . what beautiful curls! I'll have to try it again a little earlier in the evening next time - and snap a picture of those curls!
