Yard Sales Rock!

I love a yard sale bargain. Today, I found some great ones! I know Miss Mia isn't old enough yet for the kitchen, but I couldn't pass it up! It came with all the food and cooking utensils! So, I'll clean it and store it til Christmas. I think this will make a nice gift - and she should be getting interested in this type of thing by then :)
A little kids picnic table. You can never, ever have too many picnic tables. Need to get out the bleach and scrub this one - the little boy liked to run his bike into it - plus it's a little muddy from the rain (which, we're getting a ANOTHER huge downpour as I write this!)

How cute is this Work Bench???? Each year in Mercer, we hit this one yard sale. They have great stuff and great prices. Daddy thinks he's giving Miss Mia this one for her birthday. If so, we'll have all her gifts done - no more shopping needed! WOOHOO!
I also found some small items for me - a woman was selling all of her Pampered Chef Utensils at 10 cents each. I bought 'em all. HA!

Great Finds!

Amelia does indeed have something on her nose and ears - price tags. Long, long story, she left them there until my nose started getting itchy and I had take them off!

I admit to being beyond cheap. I bought sheets ON CLEARANCE at the springmaid outlet for my tablecloths at my wedding - and then I "repurposed" them into quilts for friends and family the next Christmas.

It goes without saying that I have YET to buy a single outfit for little Miss Mia. I haven't needed to do so - I had a great shower and great friends who gave me so many articles of clothing for her first year.
Unfortunately, the wealth of clothing is coming to an end. Miss Mia is going through a growth spurt and we are in need of clothing above 9 months. I didn't want to go buy clothes, I just have a hard, hard, hard time paying good money for a tiny piece of material.

Instead, I went to some yard sales this past weekend! I hit the jackpot! I found clothes from 12 months to 3T that I just had to buy! Pajamas and cute matchy matchy outfits - all brand name, to include Gap and Gymboree. The best part, nothing cost over $2.00. Now, I just need to hit some more yard sales and find a little tykes wagon (Seriously, I think it's more that Gramma wants to pull it than it being for Miss Mia) and a play house (yes, that's for me, but I promise, I'll share it!).
