Amelia does indeed have something on her nose and ears - price tags. Long, long story, she left them there until my nose started getting itchy and I had take them off!I admit to being beyond cheap. I bought sheets ON CLEARANCE at the springmaid outlet for my tablecloths at my wedding - and then I "repurposed" them into quilts for friends and family the next Christmas.
It goes without saying that I have YET to buy a single outfit for little Miss Mia. I haven't needed to do so - I had a great shower and great friends who gave me so many articles of clothing for her first year.
Unfortunately, the wealth of clothing is coming to an end. Miss Mia is going through a growth spurt and we are in need of clothing above 9 months. I didn't want to go buy clothes, I just have a hard, hard, hard time paying good money for a tiny piece of material.
Instead, I went to some yard sales this past weekend! I hit the jackpot! I found clothes from 12 months to 3T that I just had to buy! Pajamas and cute matchy matchy outfits - all brand name, to include Gap and Gymboree. The best part, nothing cost over $2.00. Now, I just need to hit some more yard sales and find a little tykes wagon (Seriously, I think it's more that Gramma wants to pull it than it being for Miss Mia) and a play house (yes, that's for me, but I promise, I'll share it!).
