June Flowers

The photo does not show the true color of these flowers. They are a rich, dark purple. They are beautiful.
A white Rhododendron I stole from Mom's house - it never grew there. At my home, it's growing like mad.

This is one of my "accidents". Yes, most of my plants seem to be happy accidents. These two plants are supposed to be a dark burgundy - kinda like the one on the right. They were bought at the same time, had the same code, same name, and they look the same when not blooming. They were also right beside each other at the nursery.

Both are beautiful in their own way . . . . and my OCD isn't too offended when looking at the beauties.

Another photo of the two plants mixing together.

Dark pink and light pink.
Seriously, just walking around my yard makes me smile - how could it not with so many beautiful flowers in bloom!?!

Yet Another Negative . . . .

This is why PCOS is evil!
I'm going on more than a week late with my period . . . yes, again. So, to make certain my insulin meds aren't hurting the baby, I get to take lots of pregnancy tests. Unfortunately, they always have the same result - one line instead of two.
Someone I know, no names mentioned, has had 3 abortions . . . couldn't I just borrow her unwanted fertility for one month? I only want one more baby. I love my Miss Mia and I don't want her to be an only child.
Don't get me wrong, I am more than grateful for having Miss Mia. Seriously, each and every time I'm holding her, I just marvel at her existence! I don't want to sound ungrateful. I don't want to sound as though I don't thank God every night when I say my prayers that He heard me and gave me the most wonderful child I could ever want.
I'm greedy.
I love being a mommy and want to be a mommy again and again and again. Oh wait, no, that might be triplets!
Anyway . . . we've got another negative and I'm wishing chocolate was a PCOS-ly acceptable food group.

Too Cute! Bathtime with Daddy Pics!

Why oh why does Daddy insist on doing Miss Mia's hair in this manner????
At least we can show that Miss Mia has hair!

The basement is changing!!!

Once a week, my Dad, my Dad's Cousin (Joe) and Steve get together for a Man's Day. They just finished an addition on Mom and Dad's house. Now, they've started work on mine! Our plans are to finish the basement. We've plans for a family room, a sewing room, an office, a guest room, a workout room, storage and a man's room. We've already finished the bathroom (yes!!!).
Above are pictures of the sewing room and family room as they get framed in, drywalled and mudded. The work isn't getting done quickly, but we are making progress!

Flowers

Pink Peonies I bought one year at Walmart on a whim. They never fail to cheer me up.

My Variegated Weiglia. I have four different versions. This one is this earliest blooming of them all.

These Pinks were a shower gift last year at my shower. They were in this tiny little 1x2 planter. I just hurriedly tucked them in the ground last year . . . and they're going wild. I love it. I love knowing they were to celebrate Miss Mia's birth and are doing so well.

Some of my Iris that are also starting to grow everywhere!
There are chives gone to flower in the background. One of these days, I'll actually use the chives for food instead of just looking at how pretty they are when they bloom!
